When is a link not a link? Does there have to be content on the other end for it to be a link? Apparently not. We all know about dead links - It was once a real link, but the site on the receiving end has given up, and taken the site off line. But what about all those sites you get to, and there's just nothing there? Do they count?

www.example.com is just an extreme example of what I'm talking about, but I'm constantly frustrated by following links that just lead to a bottomless void. But what can we do about it? Maybe a web site needs to be made to start a movement...
